Abstract
The subject of this research were leadership styles of basketball teams of the first B male league. The transfersal research of experimental
character, was applied in the paper, by using empiric and bibliographic model. The data relevant for this paper were collected by the
method of questionnaire. We observed the ways in which managers make decisions, control the group, punish or reward individuals. The
aim of the research was to use the research results in order to expand scientific knowledge on leadership in sport, as well as to use the
result for practical purposes. According to the obtained results it can be noted that greater number of managers are situated in the half that
belongs to the democratic manager style, observing the continuum (on one pole the autocratic oriented ones, and on the other pole the
democratic oriented managers). On the other dimension the greatest number was divided between person and task oriented managers. |
