indent Abstract
The overall competitive successfulness and the level of sports results of a wrestler depends mainly on his successfulness in performance of the main scoring technique, and every wrestler uses mostly one or two techniques to finish most of the fights. When this is taken into account, the importance of studying main scoring techniques, as well as the early choice and option of the wrestling technique which will suit best to this wrestler, becomes clear. There are different factors affecting the choice of the technique which is most often chosen and most successfully used. Apart from the influence of morphological and motoric characteristics, as well as the influence of the coach to the choice of preferable technique, there are certain psychological characteristics of a competitor which influence the choice of the technique. The aim of this research is to determine the interconnection between psychological characteristics of wrestlers and techniques they prefer in their fights. The research was conducted on the sample of 21 national team wrestler. Criterion variables are represented by the main scoring techniques of the wrestlers, while the predictor variables comprised their following psychological characteristics: general anxiety, aggressiveness, extraversion, sports self-continence and competitive anxiety. Since it was carried out on statistically small samples, for comparative analysis the non-parametric statistical methods, such as Kruskal – Walis and Mediana test were used. The results of this research have demonstrated that the choice of the dominant scoring technique in wrestling is connected only to some psychological characteristics of wrestlers, mainly these which contain both personal and situational specific influences, such as sports competitive anxiety. It has been determined that the wrestlers characterized by higher level of sports competitive anxiety, i.e. those who are apt to perceive competitive situations as more threatening and menacing, and who react to them with high level of somatic and cognitive anxiety, will predominantly choose and use the scoring techniques with more risk, but which at the same time, lead to lower level of result uncertainty.

The study investigates the relationship between two ways of evaluating actual individual quality of basketball players: the evaluation of experts (EE) and the quality index (INK) which represents variables of criteria. The sample of subjects comprised of 44 professional basketball players (27 outer and 17 inner) who played in The First YUBA League in Yugoslavia in the season 2001/2002. The evaluation of experts was obtained on the basis of assessment of five basketball experts, whose marks have been checked for objectivity and reliability, while the quality index was obtained from the official statistics based on the data about the situational efficiency of basketball players. The connection of these two ways of estimation of the basketball players quality is medium (р = .643; р = .001). The first set of prediction variables consists of the situational efficiency of basketball players variables, while the second set consists of the same variables calculated based on number of minutes each player spent in the game. In the data processing the correlation, factor and regression analysis was used (method Step Wise). In the opposing of the first set of variables to the criterion the evaluation of experts the following variables were identified: SKO - the number of jumps and ASI - the number of assistances, whereas in the second set of variables: ASEF – assistance per minute and SKOEF – the number of jumps per minute.

The topic of this study is programmed instruction of physical education, with methodic-organizational form of "obstacle course" as means, and with primary role of enhancing efficiency of teaching process with junior school age pupils. The sample of subjects consisted of male and female pupils of the 3rd and 4th grade of two elementary schools in Belgrade: Elementary school "Milan Dj. Milićević" and "Kralj Petar I". The overall sample of the subjects comprised 538 pupils. The pupils of elementary school "Milan Dj Milićević" were the sample of the first experimental groupt (Е1) of 126 subjects (52 females and 74 males). The pupils of the 3rd grade of elementary school "Milan Dj Milićević" were in the second experimental group (Е2) of 183 subjects (82 females and 101 males). The first control group (К1) comprised the pupils of the 4th grade of elementary school "Kralj Petar I" with 109 subjects (51 females and 58 males), while the second control group (К2) consisted of pupils of the 3rd grade of elementary school "Kralj Petar I" with 120 subjects (46 females and 74 males). The experimental factor, introduced in the experimental groups, was programed teaching of physical education in which "agility obstacle courses", as means had primary role in enhancing of teaching process efficiency. The control groups had instructions according to the valid Curriculum of physical education for 3rd grade, i.e. for the 4th grade. The research was carried out in school year 2004/05 across 14 working weeks (3 months). The effects of such programmed teaching of physical education were measured at two variables for assessment of antropometric dimensions and thirteen variables for assessment of motor abilities. The results of the research demonstrated that programmed instruction positively influenced motor abilities in experimental groups pupils. Statistically most important differences, with regard to the results of the control groups pupils, were obtained at the tests for evaluation of sprint velocity, agility, mobility and partially at coordinative abilities.

The aim of this work was to explore the effects of continuous planning and realization of programme contents of Physical education teaching, and the effects of standard planning and realization of programme contents of Physical education teaching which are most often applied in series of a certain number of lessons. The research has longitudinal experimental character (pedagogical experiment with parallel groups). The experimental treatment, included 300 subjects, divided into four specific sub specimens - according to gender and age criteria. Variables which were used in this research belong to the complex of predictor variables from five different spaces. In the analysis of the data obtained by empiric research, the following procedures were used for calculating significance of differences in effects of application of different program contents: multivariant analysis of variance, Roy's test, discriminative analysis, univariant analysis of covariance, multivariant analysis of covariance. Physical education teaching with continuous education and improving of programme contents did not have statistically significant influence on anthropometric characteristics oft male and female subjects. It had significant positive influence on improvement of the results of motor abilities, sport-technical achievement, level of theoretical knowledge about Physical education and exercise and attitudes toward Physical education lessons and values of Physical Culture and as such it can be reliable basis and recommendation of modern Physical education teaching, with permanent upgrade of contemporary knowledge.

Morphological characteristics and physiological abilities of dancers, members of an elite folklore ensemble, are estimated by EUROFIT measurement and assessment method. Both sub samples (males and females) are characterized by an above average height. Percentage values of body fat component in both sub samples is considerably higher than that reported for athletes, or for sedentary persons. Maximal oxygen uptake values, as an index of aerobic capacity, were considerably lower than athletes' maximal oxygen uptake and they were within average range reported for sedentary persons. It was concluded that physical preparation was not enough represented in folk dancers' class work.

Aerobic gymnastics (sportaerobics) is a sports discipline which comprises the elements of dance aerobic and sports gymnastics. It evolved in the 80s of the last century in the USA and Japan and has become a sports branch with its fans all over the world. There are four federations nowadays (ANAC-Association of National Aerobic Championships; IAF-International Aerobics Federation; FISAF-Federation of International Sports Aerobics and Fitness; FIG-Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique) that cherish competitive aerobics. This sport branch has changed its name from its beginnings, from competitive aerobics, through sport aerobics, into aerobic gymnastics that has now been accepted by the International Gymnastics Federation. The competitions are held individually for men and women, mixed pairs, trios and groups of six competitors in pioneer, junior and senior category. Aerobic gymnastics (sportaerobics) was a promotional sport at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000.

Within the ongoing Sports System reform process, The Republic of Serbia has faced a new legal challenge that is both demanding and complex. This challenge can be viewed as a necessity to reorganize, modernize and strengthen the sports system and to adjust it to new legal and technical standards arising from modern sports practice, rules of international sports associations, the Council of Europe conventions and the relevant European Union regulations. Legal framework regulating sports system and sports activities in the Republic of Serbia is a very interesting topic for research, because of the variety of legal, organizational and financial problems that have to be solved in the forthcoming years, in order to organize and establish effective and efficient sports system which would support further development of sport in Serbia and which would recognize sports activities, not only like fun and joy, but also like a branch of the national economy. Law on Sport currently in force in Serbia is very obsolete, based on a concept of sport system established during the last decades of the 20th Century. Because of that, in recent years, the Government of the Republic of Serbia decided to draft, and later on to submit, a new Law on Sport to the Parliament of Serbia. The Proposal of a new Law on Sport has been submitted to Serbian Parliament on 8th of November 2007. The comparative analysis of the recently enacted Croatian Law on sport is very much needed in order to help Serbian lawyers and sportsmen to assess the value and quality of rules prescribed by Serbian Draft Law on Sport. Croatian Law on Sport, enacted in 2006 is a representative example of a successfully performed reform of the legal framework regulating sport and sports activities in one country. The passing of the new legislative framework, the first of all the passing of new Law on Sport, governing the sport system and the sports organizations of Croatia was a decisive step in the reform process, which places Croatia in the forefront position among the reformist countries of the West Balkans region. Croatian Law on Sport is fully harmonized with EU laws and regulations affecting sport, which is of vital importance for further development of sport in that country. Now, a more challenging and difficult task lies ahead the relevant Croatian state administration organizations and sports organizations. That task is a proper implementation of the new regulatory framework. For the Republic of Serbia, at the moment of choosing the model of sports system reform and the reform of legal framework regulating sports system and sports activities, the factor that, primarily, must be taken into account is the constitutional/legal concept of the state itself and experience of the other countries in the region, as well as the best legal practice of the Western European countries in that field. New Law on Sport and other sports regulations in Serbia need to be made in conformity with European standards to pave the way for the country's eventual integration into the European Union and the example of Croatia and Croatian Law on Sport could be a clue for success.

At the end of 2007 the Collection of children's poems and drawings inspired by football was published by Belgrade Football Association – Commission for football at school. This Collection of children's work of 4th grade pupils of Belgrade elementary schools has proved that football and other sports games do not always have to reflect agility, speed, playing skill, physical endurance in the struggle for prestige, point or victory but that there is also another way of working with children.
